The Champions League T20 is on the heels of its relaunch as soon as next year in September, after it was reported by the Sydney Morning Herald that the concept and the competition had the backing of the key member nations at the ICC's annual conference in Singapore. A World Cup of club teams of sorts was put into motion by cricket boards from India, Australia, England and South Africa a year after the inaugural T20 World Cup.
