India suffered a 51-run defeat to South Africa in the second T20I of the five-match series in Mullanpur. The hosts failed in both batting and bowling departments, resulting in their biggest-ever T20I defeat at home. Chasing 214 runs, opener Shubman Gill registered a golden duck, while Axar Patel was sent at number three, who scored 21 runs off 21 balls. Suryakumar Yadav, on the other hand, once again flopped, scoring just five runs. source https://www.indiatvnews.com/sports/cricket/cant-rely-on-abhishek-all-the-time-suryakumar-yadav-blames-himself-shubman-gill-after-defeat-to-sa-2025-12-11-1021358
Going into the fourth day, it was more hope than pragmatism for a favourable result for India in the second Test. It was almost like a wet dream for the viewers, if Bangladesh get all out in these many overs, then India score these many runs in very few overs and then look to bowl them out cheaply again and so on. The win was a fruition of all those wet dreams, something this Indian team is slowly getting habitual of, having pulled off that heist in Barbados three months ago in the T20 World Cup final when South Africa required 30 runs to win off 30 deliveries.source https://www.indiatvnews.com/sports/cricket/ind-vs-ban-india-pull-of-kanpur-heist-to-win-the-series-2-0-maintain-unbeaten-test-record-against-bangladesh-2024-10-01-954886
