India women steamrolled West Indies women in the third and final ODI of the series to register a 3-0 sweep on Friday, December 27. Led by a sensational bowling display by Renuka Singh Thakur and Deepti Sharma, the hosts bowled the Windies out for 162 before gunning down the target with five wickets in hand. With this, West Indies have also failed to earn a direct qualification spot in next year's ODI World Cup 2025. source https://www.indiatvnews.com/sports/cricket/india-women-register-series-sweep-over-west-indies-after-deepti-sharma-historic-six-wicket-haul-2024-12-27-968195
The third Test between India and Australia seems to be heading towards a draw with rain having the final say on the third day. Only 33.1 overs of play was possible with rain interrupting play as many as six times and much to the delight of the Indian fans, the Brisbane weather isn't great for the next two days either. The rain allowed only 13.2 overs of play on the opening day while the clouds were clear on Sunday.
